Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 June 2026

Plain-language summary: ZAPLODE has no accounts and asks for no personal details. We store a random device ID, a display name you pick, and your game scores — only to run the leaderboard. No tracking cookies, no ads, no selling data.

Who we are

ZAPLODE is a game by jolved labs ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the game handles and why. Questions: privacy@jolved.com.

What we collect

We do not collect your name, email, address, or precise location, and we don't ask you to sign in.

Cookies & tracking

ZAPLODE sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. We use your browser's local storage for your own settings, progress and device ID. If we later add privacy-friendly, cookieless usage analytics, we will update this policy first and keep it anonymous.

Where data goes

Leaderboard submissions are stored with our hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase) acting as processors on our behalf, and may be processed in the EU/US. Fonts are served by Google Fonts. The public leaderboard shows only your handle, time, level and weapon — never your device ID.

Legal basis & retention

We process leaderboard data on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a fair, fun leaderboard. Daily boards may be pruned periodically; all-time entries are kept until you ask us to remove them or the service ends.

Your choices & rights

Children

ZAPLODE is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We don't knowingly collect personal data from children. Because we don't collect personal details, please simply avoid entering any in your handle.

Changes

We'll post any changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be highlighted in-game where practical.
